Russ offers a broad experience to his clients at NW Estate Law after years of working with individuals, businesses, and local districts. He is a skilled litigator which offers a unique perspective for our estate planning and elder law clients. Russ is an Oregon native, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attended public school in District 48 and graduated from Sunset High School. He received his B.A. in Psychology and Chemistry from Whitman College, and his J.D. from University of Oregon School of Law.
Russ started his legal career with a small firm in Lincoln City, where he concentrated on civil litigation involving real estate disputes. Russ ventured out on his own and started his own boutique law firm, where in addition to his litigation practice, he represented clients in estate planning, probate, and administrative law matters before state agencies throughout Oregon.
Russ is a member of the bars of the Oregon Supreme Court, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for Oregon.
Outside of work, Russ enjoys cooking and gardening with his wife Pamela.
