With a focus on helping clients protect their life's work and secure their legacy, Katie takes pride in offering creative solutions that bring peace of mind for the future. Katie is originally from Southern Utah but has called Portland, Oregon home for the past six years. Before attending law school, Katie worked for a nonprofit organization, where she developed a strong interest in community service. This commitment to helping others led her to pursue a legal career. Katie attended Willamette University College of Law where clerked at the Marion County District Attorney’s Office and engaged in the Community and Environmental Justice Clinic.
After graduating from law school, Katie had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Jeffrey S. Jones at the Clackamas County Circuit Court. Following the clerkship, Katie transitioned into family law, gaining extensive experience working with individuals and families navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges. This work provided invaluable insight into complex family dynamics and the importance of offering compassionate legal support during times of crisis. Drawing on this experience, Katie developed a strong interest in estate planning.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her two dachshunds, reading a book and watching Game of Thrones.
