About Cathy Behrendt

Contract Paralegal – NW Estate Law, LLC - Estate Planning in Oregon and Washington State

Cathy Behrendt came to NW Estate Law, LLC with over twenty-five years of experience within the legal and court system.  After graduating, she started her career as a bookkeeper but quickly realized she needed more than numbers.  She took a position with a local county Juvenile Department and thereafter starting her own company as a Licensed Private Investigator and paralegal.  With years of experience in all types of law, Cathy has a solid understanding of the court process and is able to convey this knowledge to clients.  Her background coupled with her organization, efficiency, and positive attitude make her a wonderful paralegal.  Cathy is now the head paralegal for our guardianships, conservatorships, probate, and trust administration for Oregon.  Cathy enjoys assisting our clients with sorting out the tasks of their role as fiduciary in what can be some of the saddest and overwhelming days of their lives.
